Family movie nights have evolved quite a bit from when Team Tula grew up. “Making it a Blockbuster Night” was how most of us remember viewing new movies outside of a movie theater. In-person video rental (and it’s late fees) seem like ancient history in the age of digital streaming.
2020 has brought a lot of chaos, but this year may also be looked on as a time when family movie nights were revived. With many people sheltering at home for months, squishing together on the couch and watching a movie together is the family bonding we need.
If you need a movie marathon for a Trick-Or-Treating alternative, or you want to get in the spooky spirit this weekend, we have a good list for you! Sometimes it is hard to figure out what is streaming where, so we have included that to make it simple. The age guidelines are from Common Sense Media, but it’s a good idea to take a quick look at the movie trailer to see if it’s the right level of scary for your family.
