What Ring Sling Should I Get?

Our Baby Tula Ring Slings made using beautiful woven material designed and woven specifically for Baby Tula. Using this supportive woven material, that quickly softens and glides, makes our ring slings a wonderful option to use with your baby from birth into toddlerhood. They have a weight range of 8-35lb. and allow for front and hip carrying positions.

A benefit to a ring sling is that they're a compact, quick on-the-go babywearing option. A sling compactly folds and is easy to bring along in your bag to slip on and off. Ring Slings perfectly mold around the wearer and baby creating a customized fit that is snug and secure.

Our most recent small batch collection of Signature Ring Slings are woven by hand in Guatemala and finished with silver rings in our Poland factory blending beauty with long trusted craftsmanship. Six gradient rainbow patterns were artistically designed by the weaving duo at Meeyoo Handwovens. The designs were then woven by the handweavers of Girasol to be used, exclusively, for our Signature line of Carriers, Slings, and accessories.

The limited edition Signature Ring Slings come in one size (L/XL). Our Ring Slings made with Tula machine woven material were made available in two sizes: "S/M" and "L/XL". S/M is around 77″ and L/XL is around 87″ unwashed (slight variation is intentional as we cut to allow for up to 20% shrinkage with our Tencel® blend).

Not sure what size ring sling to purchase? One way to choose what size to get is to use your shirt size as a guide. However, you’ll also want to consider the ‘tail’. The tail is the excess fabric that hangs down once you have the sling adjusted for you and baby. The S/M will leave a shorter tail than the L/XL. However, the fit of Baby Tula Ring Slings is very versatile, and both sizes will fit most wearers. And if the length of the tail seems too long for you, there are ways to wrap the fabric around the rings to use up some of the length.
